Established in 1991, Saskarc Industries is an industry-leading custom metal fabricator, project management and equipment sales/rental company. We serve the oil and gas, power generation, mining, construction, government and petrochemical industries across North America.

Reporting to the Fabrication Sales Manager, the incumbent will produce sales leads, close sales, provide customer and production support for targeted market segments.


  • Works order processing: order entry, invoice drafting, processing, billing and collecting payments.
  • Enlists Goldmine CRM software to track all correspondence and records for prospects, leads etc…
  • Provides routine and current customer contact and fulfill their needs as required.
  • Coordinates with the Production Manager and Project Managers to fulfill requirements of current jobs in progress.
  • Assists other Fabrication Salespersons as needed in a team-oriented fashion.
  • Resolves customer complaints without arguing with the customer. In the case of a dispute, discuss your strategy with the Sales Manager prior to re-approaching the customer.
  • Ensures all commitments (promises, deadlines, etc.) made to the customer are being met by the Company.
  • Uses every opportunity to promote the Company’s image, products, reputation, etc.
  • Researches and discovers lead opportunities.
  • Acts as backup to the Estimator on E2 Quote letters and Terms and Conditions.
  • Reviews E2 Quotes, T’s & C’s and Job Estimates with the Sales Manager.
  • Liaises with Project Managers for invoicing requirements, invoice generation and invoice delivery.
  • Tracks financial invoices and change orders.
  • Assist the marketing team with input into marketing efforts and making telemarketing/telesales calls.
  • Diligent follow up of all leads and quotes submitted.
  • Build and maintain a sufficient pipeline to ensure company targets are met.
  • Portray the companies USP through phone calls, F2F visits, presentations and attending trade shows/conferences.



  • At least 3-5 years sales experience and related knowledge;
  • Manufacturing experience is an asset;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as telephone skills;
  • Capability to follow up on leads, deadlines and resources;
  • Highly organized and detail oriented;
  • Possesses a positive, cheerful disposition when dealing with customers;
  • Demonstrated capabilities in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as determined by internal testing;
  • Enhanced knowledge of company products and capabilities;
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada; and
  • Occasional travel may be required.
