The FastArc is highly capable and extremely precise. It drastically reduces the amount of time and manual labour required to fabricate the steel, thus resulting in significant labour savings across the board. Depending on the task, the FastArc is able to reduce fabrication times by as much as 400%! The FastArc’s advanced technology ensures that the steel is fitted and welded with perfect accuracy. Using laser technology, the robot can scan and identify
unique parts, ensuring they all have the correct dimensions and hole placements before fitting and welding them together with two simultaneous robotic welding arms.
Saskarc also has a welding-only robotic cell, the SpeedArc, which is designed to carry out the required welds of overly complex steel that needs to be manually fitted. The SpeedArc works with consistent quality and precision and is able to complete welds more than three times faster than manual operations. It also operates lights-out, meaning it does not require operator involvement, other than to load and unload the cell.
